Yep.

So Buzz went to the vet on Friday for his rechecks. Blood sugar is down to 202 from 351! And no more infection. The glucose in his urine is down, but still there. They'll check everything again next month. So the food seems to be helping! I hope I can put off giving him insulin, but I'm not holding my breath. He lost maybe less than a pound, as he is still not eating the full daily combined serving of canned and dry food. He eats about a half can of canned, when the daily serving should be 2 cans or so. He only eats a few bites of the dry food at a time. But I think he'll improve. He could stand to lose a little weight, anyway, but I don't want him to starve.
George and Bobby Hill are another story. We got laser toys hoping to get them to exercise. Because the Coltranes and the younger Hills run around and will not stop, they don't seem motivated to move and chase it. We bought two hoping they'd chase it while the others were occupied, but that didn't work, either. I could put them in the workout room and play with them there, maybe. The damn Coltranes will chase it until they pant, which of course scares me. I know it's probably ok, but I don't want them to overheat.
I slacked off most of last week. I went to class Monday, then didn't do anything Tuesday. I was having IBS issues. Wednesday I was busy and phlegm-y. Thursday I had a pounding headache and was still phlegm-y. (Some tree is...doing whatever trees do, and it was on my allergic reaction list from my testing.) Stacey canceled on me on Friday, and I meant to get on the treadmill, but I was tired. Yeah. Wahwahwah. On Saturday, as usual, the assholes woke me up early. I slept too late for the first class, tying to catch up on sleep. Then I got into an altercation with that rescue bitch and her minions right after taking eph3dra. My blood pressure was so high I could feel my heartbeat quake throughout my body. I think it was even effecting my vision. Bad. I was scared to go to such a strenuous class. Srsly.
Update on my sister. My uncle called her mom back after going out to the grave site and doing some cleaning up this weekend. He proposed we meet up to go out there this Saturday. Oh well. I'll be missing class again. I wanted to do it later in the day, but given the distance (C0nyers) it might be best to go early. So I guess Debbie might pick me up at home, then we'll either pick up or meet Danielle over her way (Gw!nnett). Should be an awkward day. I'm still not sure what to make of my uncle's 180. It's been 10 years. Still haven't talked to my sister, but she seems ok with me...until I can't bite my tongue, I'm sure.
I'm now wondering if this will be canceled due to the crappy weather.
I went to class Monday night, if a little late. As usual, I could have laid down and gone to sleep, but I knew I'd be missing Saturday, and after slacking last week, especially. I'm glad I went. It was fun, despite the 80 degree heat. (WTF? Fix that shit already, unless it's someone being cheap. Does someone have to vomit or pass out for them to do it? I heard that the owner wanted to do "hot" HIT class, like hot yoga. He's obviously never taken the class. If you're not sweating like a hog when you do it, A/C or no, you're doing it wrong. (UR DOING IT RONG!) Someone really would pass out. Maybe. That's exactly what we did on Monday for class 2, harnesses and all. This was good. I do better with that and not having to think too much so close to bedtime. When he does the mitt work, for example, and the sometimes complicated combos, my brain fogs or something. By the time I get it down, he moves on to something else.
I did intervals on the treadmill last night. Should have taken my asthma meds before. I'm getting better at the jogging, though. Longer intervals, less huffing and puffing and leg pain.
Today, I hoped to walk trails with Sandra. Looks like it will be raining, though. Fucking rain.
