Let's see. I skipped classes on Thursday and Saturday. On Thursday, it st5arted to hail as I was about to leave. so I thought I'd wait a bit and go to the second class. then my headache got worse. Ugh. On Saturday, I slept late after going back to bed after feeding the cats and giving Buzz his injection. (Gotta keep him on a regular 12 hour schedule, as closely as I can.) I had a hair appointment at 1:00 anyway, and I didn't want to rush. I instead got some clothes ready for the consignment shop. I managed to get out of there with a pair of long shorts, a pair of cropped pants, and 4 shirts (I think) for about $30. Not bad. I've got even more clothes to take up there next weekend.
On Friday, Buzz's blood sugar was still in the 400s, so we upped his dosage by 100% to 2 units. So far so good. They told me that when the dosage is raised, it's good to be there to watch him for signs of his blood sugar dropping too low. They said I should keep corn syrup or honey on hand just in case. Nothing like that happened, though. It may be in my head (especially since his blood sugar was still very high), but he seems to feel better. He seems to be more active, seeking attention and interaction, as well as better groomed. I don't know, though. Wishful thinking?
I picked up a prescription yesterday, and the pharmacist asked how my cat was doing. I find that funny. And endearing.
I worked out with Stacey Friday night. Nothing too strenuous. Jogging to warm up, bi, tri, chest and back.
After my hair cut and other errands, I went shopping for some shorts. I cleaned out a few that no longer fir when I swapped the winter clothes with the shorts from under the bed. I spent too much money. Got a couple pairs of capris and a bra, since they were on sale. I need to go to Old N@vy, too. Looks like they have those denim Bermuda shorts again that I got a few years ago and haven't been able to find since. I have a coo-pin, too.
I never applied for another credit card. Uncle Clark's volunteer said I should go ahead and apply "if you have an outstanding offer." Well, no I didn't. We did also pay off the car, so maybe that will counteract the drop from closing that account.
I was in the process of applying for a low fixed rate card with a 0% intro rate, but saw that they wanted pay stubs. Well. Neither of us get them. So, now what? We would probably be better off with the credit union anyway, even though it's not as low as some cards. I know they won't jerk us around, at least. I found out that the one I've had for years is still 12%, but I can apply for one that is 9.9%. Eh.
I was off on Monday (4/27) for Confederate Memorial Day. Yay, state holidays! I got more clothes ready for the consignment shop, napped, etc. Went to class that night, and actually did much better in sparring. Was more relaxed, and got a few good hits on Stacey. Just a few.
